SELDOM PUBLISHED BALLOT TIPS
Do Not mail your ballot back to the County Clerk. Take it to a Ballot Drop Box.
If you receive a ballot for someone not living at your address, you must return that ballot to the US Post Office for two consecutive election cycles. Take that ballot inside the Post Office; do not drop in a drop box outside in the parking lot. Those blue drop boxes are not secure.
To follow your ballot from the day it is mailed to you, to the day it is received at the County Clerk’s office, sign up for Ballotrax. https://ballottrax.coloradosos.gov/voter/
If you don’t receive a Ballot, you can go to the County Clerk’s office, show your ID and get a replacement Ballot.
If you vote in person, your ballot isn’t counted until after Election Day.
For the Primary Election, Unaffiliated voters receive 2 ballots, one ballot for each party.
They can only vote one ballot. It is against the law to vote both ballots.
Ballots are NEVER Forwarded. You must go to the County Clerks office and change your address if you move.
